is it legal to ship a 1911 .22 conversion kit from US to Canada?
I want a .22 conversion kit that is only sold in the states. If I ordered one from the states would they ship it to Canada or is it illegal to ship those internationally?
Pretty much all guns, gun parts and ammo are illegal to ship out of the states without an export permit. Not many dealers are willing to go through all the BS to export guns and parts.
I have seen 1911 .22 conversion kits for sale in Canada. I don’t even think they are controlled.

How do I get the video driver from the hardware manufacturer?
I just formatted my laptop (Windows XP) and now the Direct3D is missing. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool window says I have to get the driver from the hardware manufacturer, but I don’t know where.

If you get stuck download the application at http://www.fixmydriver.com, install and run the scan. It should identify all the drivers for you. You can then visit each manufacturer’s site and download the drivers you need.
